Today’s PSA: Don’t leave yard equipment on the highway.

Kinja'd!!!

Went to pass someone on the highway and they suddenly drifted into my lane. They were texting. Another mile down the road and a steel wheelbarrow was in the lane next to me so I watched in my mirror. Texting SUV went right into it.

So pick up your wheelbarrows. Also, don’t text and drive.

Wheelbarrow wants to be there. Don’t make it leave. It brings sweet justice.

You left out the best part. What happened to the SUV and wheelbarrow?

I can imagine a steel wheelbarrow would fuck up an SUV pretty bad.

Unfortunately I couldn’t see the resulting damage as I was ahead of the actual event. What I did see was the driver notice at the last second and try to swerve. This resulted in the wheelbarrow getting hit by the front left of the car instead of dead center. It then rolled under the bumper and bounced a bit. Not sure if the front wheels got in on the action or not, though.

However, the impact was substantial. Wheelbarrow was on its side, bucket facing traffic. SUV was doing 70.
